Respected Sir, I just want to know that if I am going to take admission in Guru Kashi University for PhD(Chemistry) then what is the eligibility criteria for admission? Kindly let me know about the eligibility asap.

The eligibility to study PhD in Chemistry at Guru Kashi University is a candidate must have passed a Master's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 6.0 on 10 point scale from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of performance in the entrance test which is conducted by the university and there is no specific age limit to apply for this course.

1 - Candidates must have passed a master's degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks for 6.0 CGPA.

The candidates must have a post graduation in the relevant subject/field with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale from a recognised University.

Admission process:-
Admission is done on the basis of entrance test by 6.0 on the website of the university.

Doctor of Philosophy Chemistry shall be for a minimum duration of 3 years, including course work and a maximum of 6 years.

The eligibility to study PhD Chemistry at Guru Kashi University is, candidates must have a post graduate degree with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called UGC NET (JRF) ,SLET and GATE.

The duration of this course is 3 years.

Those who have completed their masters in relevant subject with atleast 60% marks from a recognised university are eligible for PhD admission.

Those belonging to reserved categories are provided 5% relaxation in marks.

Those who have appeared for NET/SET/GAATE/ CSIR UGC NET are exempted from entrance exam and directly appear for personal interview.

They must have a valid score of UGC NET , JRF, UGC CSIR , SLET, GATE, GPAT etc

Candidates are selected in the basis of merit in entrance exam and interview.
