Dear friends, can you please help me to know about the exemptions available for SC students in The University of Burdwan for doing PhD course in English? I am a SC student and I want to get admission in this university for this PhD program. Kindly tell me about the exemptions available for me.

Exemptions available to study PhD(English) in The University of Burdwan for a SC candidate is as follows.

General category applicant must have minimum 60 percentile score in UGC NET or equivalent exam to get admission while SC category applicants can get admission with minimum 50 percentile score in UGC NET.

Applicant can get admission through UGC NET or equivalent exam.

Applicant can also get admission through entrance exam conducted by university followed by interview.
