You can't seek admission to Ph. D after B.Sc degree. Master's degree in any of the subjects is necessary to apply for doctorate. Admission to the course is made on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the concerned University.
The student should have Indian citizenship. |

You will have to pass post - graduation first with a minimum of 55% marks in post - graduation from any recognized university. Admission to this course is done on the basis of performance of student in the entrance test.
One can not directly get admission in PhD just after the BSc in India. |

1. Research your field of interest: Identify the specific area within the field of Operation Theatre that you want to specialize in for your doctoral studies. 2. Find universities and programs: Look for universities and institutions that offer doctoral programs related to your chosen field. Explore their websites, program requirements, and faculty profiles to ensure they align with your interests. 3. Meet admission requirements: Review the admission requirements for the doctoral program you're interested in. This typically includes providing transcripts, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and taking standardized exams like the GRE (Graduate Record Examination). 4. Contact potential supervisors: Reach out to professors or researchers working in your area of interest. They can guide you in the application process and potentially become your academic advisor during your doctoral studies. 5. Write a research proposal: Craft a research proposal outlining your intended research topic, objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes. This will be an important part of your application, demonstrating your preparedness and commitment to conducting original research in your chosen field. 6. Apply for funding: Look for scholarship or funding opportunities specifically designed for doctoral students. Many universities and external organizations offer financial assistance to support your doctoral studies. 7. Complete coursework and research: Once admitted, you will likely have to fulfill coursework requirements, such as research methods and field-specific courses. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct original research under the guidance of your supervisor. 8. Prepare and defend your dissertation: The culmination of a doctoral program is the completion and defense of your dissertation. This involves independent research, scholarly writing, and presenting your findings to a committee of faculty members. |
