The JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) examination in Agriculture Engineering is conducted by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB). The exam consists of a single paper with 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is divided into two parts:

Part-A (60 questions) consists of general knowledge, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and general awareness.

Part-B (140 questions) covers the Agriculture Engineering discipline and related fields.
