I would like to know about the requirements for getting admission in PhD(Islamic Studies) course in Osmania University. Kindly let me know about the requirements for admission in this course. Waiting for your response!

Requirements to get PhD(Islamic Studies) admission in Osmania University are as follows;

Candidates must possess masters degree in the relevant subject (approved by Osmania University) with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST category candidates) from any recognized university.

Candidates must have passed MPhil degree in the concerned subject or in an allied subject (approved by Osmania University) from any recognized university.

Candidates must have studied Arabic, Persian, Urdu at their school, intermediate or degree level.

Candidates must have qualified written test and an interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/SLET examination or awarded a research fellowship by UGC/CSIR/Government Organization are exempted from written test.
