Admission procedure to study MTech(Extractive Metallurgy) in NIT-Warangal?


Hi, I would like to join NIT-Warangal for studying MTech(Extractive Metallurgy). I would like to know about the procedure for getting admission in this institute for this Post Graduation course. Kindly let me know about the admission procedure asap. Thank you!

You need to appear for GATE after B.Tech in the same stream for admission at NIT Warangal for M.Tech degree. Admission will be on merit and you need to have an excellent GATE score to get admission at the said institute.

Cut off score varies for different stream and you must have a decent score in GATE for the concerned stream. Seats will be allotted through counselling.

Admission procedure to study MTech in Extractive Metallurgy at NIT-Warangal is:-

==> Admissions to MTech course will be through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering).

==> GATE website link is www.gate.iitm.ac.in/.

==> After the GATE result is declared, a centralized counseling is conducted known as CCMT.

==> Candidates who qualify GATE exam are required to apply for CCMT, after that you are allowed to select colleges and courses of your choice.

==> The application form for CCMT is available at www.ccmt.nic.in.

Admission procedure to study MTech(Extractive Metallurgy) in NIT-Warangal?

The admission to pursue to M.Tech in Extractive Metallurgy in NIT-Warangal is on the basis of GATE score followed by counselling and Interview.

The minimum educational qualification required to apply for M.Tech in Extractive Metallurgy in NIT-Warangal is B. E. or B. Tech. in Mechanical or Metallurgical or Materials Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
