Dear Sir, I want to do MA in physical education. Can I do it from correspondence or distance education. My age is 40 years. Am I eligible for the course. I have already done BPEd.

Yes. The basic educational qualification generally varies from institute to institute. As far as my best knowledge is concerned, there is no certain age criteria in order to pursue MA in Physical Education course.

Physical education is not a distance mode kind of course and you can only do it in regular mode from a sports college. Such courses are meant only for regular mode.

Even if some university is offering such degree in distance mode, it will not carry much weight because you won't have much practical knowledge of your field.

MA in Physical Education:

Eligibility :Graduation

Duration : 2 years

Master of Arts in Physical Education can be gained by anyone who has passed a bachelor's degree specially in a very connected field, like nutrition, exercise science, or education from a reputed university or college.

Candidates who have completed their BA in physical education/B.Sc health and physical education/degree in sports with minimum 55% to 60% marks from a recognized university are eligible for master's degree in physical education. Your age at present is 40 years and you also have completed BPED course, so you can pursue MPED through distance mode. But. choose an institute which is recognized and approved by UGC and DEC, then only the course will have a value otherwise not.

Yes, you can do MA in Physical Education through distance education in some colleges / universities. Candidates with graduation in any discipline are eligible to study the MA in Physical Education in distance education. Duration of the course is two years. The MA Physical Education is available in distance mode in the following colleges:
