After completing only MBBS course, you can not do MCh(Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery). After MBBS course, you will need to have obtain a master's degree like, MD/ MS or DNB with a minimum aggregate score of 55% from any recognized university and you will need to be registered permanently with the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils to study MCh(Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery). You must have minimum 2 years experience in the surgical field in order to be eligible. You must have qualified NEET-SS to study MCh(Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery).

No, MBBS graduates are not eligible to apply for MCh courses in any stream. You need to have MS degree in the same field to apply for admission. Therefore, you need to study more to become eligible for such courses.

NEET-SS is conducted for admission in such courses and MS in the required specialisation is essential to get admission.
