Respected Sir/Madam, I have completed my MCom through distance education from Annamalai University. I want to secure BEd admission in Calicut University. Can I be eligible to secure an admission in this university?

Your post graduation qualification has nothing to do with the eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Education course.

The eligibility criteria for B.Ed course:

>>Candidate must have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. If done in distance, university should be approved by Distance Education council and UGC.

>>Minimum of 50% marks in bachelor's degree is required for B.Ed admission.

Depending upon your bachelor's degree qualification and percentage, you can apply for B.Ed admission in Calicut university.

Yes you can apply for BEd admission because the eligibility criteria for Calicut University is you need to score at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s.
