Hello everyone, can anyone of you let me know about the structure of MA(Music)? I would also like to know about the fee expenses of this course so that I can apply in Bengal Music College. Thank you!

The duration of M.A. Music or Master of Arts in Music course is two years i.e 4 semesters.

FIRST SEMESTER

=> Theory (History & Aesthetics in Music)

=> Practical Paper I (Stage Performance)

SECOND SEMESTER

=> Theory (General & Applied Theory)

=> Practical Paper II (Viva-voce)

=> Practical Paper III (Revision of Ragas and Sessional)

THIRD SEMESTER

=> Theory (History of Indian Music)

=> Practical Paper IV (Stage Performance)

FOURTH SEMESTER

=> Theory (Applied theory and Musical compositions)

=> Practical Paper V (Viva-voce)

=> Practical Paper VI (Revision of the Ragas and sessional)

NOTE: Course Fee = INR 1,180 to 1,10,000
