MA (History) passed candidates can apply for various state and central government jobs. They can also apply for Clerk and Probationary Officer (PO) posts in nationalized banks. Most of the nationalized banks recruit through IBPS. They can apply for jobs in state government through state public service commission like TNPSC. They can apply for various jobs in state government with MA (History) qualification. They can also apply for jobs in central government departments through Staff Selection Commission. For government jobs, they have to appear and qualify in the written test and interview.
