how many times i can take attempt in gate exam according to new gate 2012 format?

A candidate can appear for the GATE exams as many times as they want. There is no time limit for this exam. Once you have cleared this exam, this score will be valid for three years.

The maximum number of attempts for the GATE examination as per the new pattern is unlimited. The minimum educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Arts/Commerce or post-graduation in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. There is no upper age limit to apply for this examination.
