Roles and responsibilities of Service Engineer in Microland Limited, Mumbai?


Please help me to know about the roles and the responsibilities for Service Engineer allotted by Microland Limited, Mumbai. I want to become Service Engineer in this company so I want to know about the roles and responsibilities.

Roles and responsibilities of Service Engineer in Microland Limited, Mumbai:

You will be required to resolve technical issues at level 1.
Remote management of Hardware/Software related problems will be required.
You have to install anti-virus on servers upgrades, monitoring anti-virus patches on Servers and Desktops and generating Reports.
You will be required to collect information from vendor and customer and update the tickets regularly as per the prescribed process.

Hello Dear,

Microland Limited is currently hiring for the post of Service Engineer, please find the details below.

You must have completed your BE / BTech full time course to get eligible for this post.

Roles and Responsibilities:
------------------------------

1. You are responsible to pick any assigned Task within 30 minutes and
ensure to close the Task within the SLA.

2. Should be able to work on the technologies (Windows/Unix/VCenter)

3. Efficient follow-up with other supporting teams to comply with SLA

4. Ensure that the Decomm process is adhered to strictly.

5. Flag off any potential Decomm Process to the SME/RM immediately.

6. Ensure all documentation relevant to the Decomm Ticket is documented in the Ticket.

7. Ensure that the Decomm Task is placed in the correct status (Pending/Open)

8. The Tasks should be updated at every 24 hrs.

9. The Engineer who cancels a Decomm Ticket will own the Restoration as well and it should be closed without any delay.

10. You Should have the Knowledge of open tickets in queue and the reason/challenges for them to be open. Work on them to get them closed as soon as possible.

11. Should flag of delayed DEcomm Ticket to the SME/RM appropriately.

12. Providing technical solutions to pending Decomms and drive them to closure

13. Should be conversant with DAS Technology
