The Information Theory and Coding paper of Electronics and Communication Engineering under Calicut University is an important paper when security and proper transfer of data is required. This subject covers a wide range of topics which has many applications in day to day lives. This exam is of 100 marks and 3 hours are allotted for it. It is divided into sections. Part A is a 40 mark section whereas Part B carries 60 marks. All the questions in both the parts are compulsory. However, in Part B there are internal options for each of the questions.
