Gujarat Technological University MCA 2nd Sem-Theory of Computation Papers is one of the eight papers one has to clear to move on to the next semester. It is a two hours paper and has a maximum marks of 40 allotted to it. It is a compulsory paper with only few optional sub parts which has equal weight age. There are a total of five questions and there is an unequal distribution of marks there. The topics related to this paper are discrete mathematics like sets, relations, functions etc and definite automata, push down automata, Turing machine definition etc. The paper enables one to have a basic analytical knowledge of the models in computation.
