IETE AMIETE –ET (New Scheme) Embedded Systems Design Exam – Download Previous Year’s Question Papers
IETE AMIETE –ET (New Scheme) Embedded Systems Design Papers are aimed at testing the student’s grasp of the concepts of the paper. Questions are likely to be asked from real time application scenarios, commercially claimed RTOS, nature and function of processors, the manner in which priority inversion problems can be solved, the concepts of serial communication, timer, interrupt and I/O, the nature of device drives located with microkernels, the nature of operations for which DMA is useful, the relationship between processes and the CPU and so on. The questions are both objective and long-answer type giving the student ample opportunities to score well. Long answer type questions are expected from embedded systems, top down design process, combination and sequential circuit, microcontroller and its functions, the advantages of Assembly Language, Hardware units of an embedded system, different kinds of communication techniques and so on. Objective as well as subjective questions are part of this paper. While objective questions make 20% of this paper, subjective questions have majority with 80% questions. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question papers for your help.
