IGNOU conducts the MCA course for the students who cannot opt for the regular study. MCA is a master degree program and it has total 6 semesters. There are total 7 papers in the MCA semester I. The names of the papers are C & Assembly Language Programming Lab, Program Solving and Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Computer Organization and Assembly Language Programming, System Analysis and Design, Internet Concepts and Web Design and Communication Skills. Most of the papers are of 100 marks but few are of 50 marks also. The marks are counted on the basis of two things Assignments and Term End Examination.
