The students of computer science are expected to know not just about the various programming languages that would aid them in the process of designing the various software but also the various processes that these software are meant to assist in. And in any industry the most important concern is the optimisation of the various resources and minimizing the costs. Thus the students need to have a sound knowledge of the various principles of economics and management and the various factors affecting the cost of operation of the various processes. The paper thus deals mainly with the aforementioned topics. Since the subject is vast so the questions are strictly restricted to the prescribed syllabus. The students are thus expected to know what they have been taught as a part of the classroom programme thoroughly. The paper has 4 units with 2 questions each. One question from each Unit is mandatory and they can answer 5th question from any of the units. All the questions have equal weightage i.e. 20.
