Embedded Systems & Real Time Programming is a specialised paper under the same which has been developed with an eye to increase the acumen and practical ability of students. So the syllabus is more oriented towards microcontroller technology, microcontroller programming, microcontroller platform and elements of software engineering. Apart from this, the syllabus underlines embedded systems modelling, real time operating systems and digital signal processing. Reactive system modelling and model-driven progress demands special mention in the syllabus besides components of the programming system, multitasking operations, applications and synchronization of tasks. Implementation techniques and analysis completes the theoretical and practical orientation of students. There are some additional topics on high-resolution DAC and communication interfaces in embedded systems.
