The paper on Applied Basic Sciences in the master’s degree from The TamilNadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in PERIODONTOLOGY is a basic paper and is coded as 2405. The total marks is 100.There is 20 marks for the multiple choice question paper and the rest 80 marks is allotted for the theoretical paper with subjective type questions. The paper is of three hours. There is a multiple choice paper having objective questions with given options and a theoretical based paper which has all essay type questions is one where one has to elaborate on given topics and the question pattern ranges from writing short notes to discussion on a particular topic.
