my ward is reading now class VII, her date of birth is16/01/2006. Is she eligible for Class VIII in 2022?

For admission in Class 8:

The age of the student must be 12-13 years (born between 1 April 2009 and 31 March 2010).

You must have passed class 7th with a minimum of 60% marks to be eligible to get admission in class 8th.

Yes, your daughter is eligible for class 8th. Children who were born in-between 1st April 2009 to 31st March 2010 are eligible for class 8th as the age would be 12 plus. The admission process and age relaxation may vary from school to school which you can check before applying.
