Can a student of ISC switch to MP board for percentage improvement in class 12th??

No, there is no chance of change in the board in std 12th of the board examination.

So, you have to take admission in std 11th or have to give your improvement with the same board.

1. Yes, it a good idea to switch to MP board from ISC or CBSE to get good score in 12th board.

Yes. You are allowed to move from CBSE to state board in class 12. Just contact the school you want to join and they will let you know the procedure. You have a solid reason to transfer to another school, this is allowed if you get a transfer certificate from your old school.

The drawback of switching the board is that each board has different syllabus so you may have to face some problems in your initial time.

You can change the board but some of the state boards do not entertain such admissions. They have the condition that a candidate should have passed class 11th from the same board, then only they will consider the admission. The reason behind this is the registration process for the board examinations is done in class 11th only. If somehow you even get admission in class 12th then in the end you will not be able to receive your admit card for your board examinations. If this happens then you will lose your 1 year.

It is not possible to switch the board in std 12th. So, you will have to continue with the same board for the improvement or else have take admission in the MP board in std 11th and then will become eligible to appear for std 12th next year.
