CGPA to percentage conversion?


Hi sir, how to convert my CGPA which is 4.8 to percentage? I have got this CGPA in CBSE broad? Can someone please give me the complete information on the same? Awaiting for the answer soon!

You can calculate the percentage of marks by multiplying the CGPA with 9.5 and the percentage will be 45.6% in your case.

Percentage= 9.5¡ÁCGPA

CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average.
It is the method of providing marks to student in CCE pattern.
CCE stands for Continuous and Comprehensive Education.
It is method of education provided in CBSE affiliated schools up to Secondary level.

In this method, students get CGPA scores instead of total marks in respective subject as overall.
To calculate the approx percentage of marks, students should multiply the CGPA by 9.5

What to do if the university follows CGPA and have no grading to equivalent percentage conversion formula, while filling up csir net form.

Deduct 0.75 from cgpa and then multiply with 10 only for those candidates whose cgpa base is 10
