Hello, my son is studying in 9th standard right now with an IGCSE Board. I want him to join CBSE Board for 9th standard. So, is there any chance right now to join 9th standard of CBSE? Kindly confirm me.

As per the rules the candidate has to complete both 9th and 10th standards with same board.
Yes, definitely your child is eligible to join CBSE board in 9th standard after passing 8th standard from some other board.

A student is eligible to change the board in 9th standard.
If your child has done 8th standard from IGCSE board then he is eligible to get admission in CBSE board in 9th standard.
However, you need migration certificate to get admission in CBSE board from previous school.
