Is it compulsory to clear CTET for Central School Teachers job? Can a pstet cleared person apply for center school vacancies?

Yes. It is compulsory to qualify CTET exam to get selected for Central School Teachers job.

Candidates qualified state TET is not eligible for recruitment as teacher in central government schools.

Yes, it is compulsory to clear CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) for Central School Teacher's job. It is a national level teaching eligibility test which is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). This examination is mainly for primary teacher (PRT) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts. After clearing this CTET examination you will be eligible for the lifetime to appear in any government teaching examination.

The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum score of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board or must have done a 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
