Private candidate is eligible for NEET exam 2023?


Due to medical issue I was absent on my 12th theory exam but I completed practical . now I am going to write my 12th theory exam as private candidate am I eligible for neet exam

Yes, private candidate is eligible for NEET exam 2023.

Open schools or private candidates are eligible to appear for NERT exam. Subject to the final decision in the Supreme Court of India.
You should have studied for a continuous period of 2 years as a regular school student.

NEET is a national level entrance exam for admission to medical courses offered by the majority of India's medical Schools and Universities.

Yes private candidates are eligible for NEET exam.
Those who have completed their 10+ 2 or equivalent with physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology and english as core subjects from a recognised board are eligible.
Class 12th or equivalent appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for NEET exam.

1. Educational Qualification: A candidate must have qualified class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects.

2. Age limit: A candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2023. Upper age for candidates from General category is 25 years and 30 years for candidates from OBC/SC/ST categories.

Candidates who have passed 12th from open school or as private candidates shell not be eligible to appear for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test.

The candidates who have passed 12th with Biology as an additional subject will also be eligible for MBBS entrance examination.

Yes, you would be eligible for the NEET 2023 if you pursue 12th standard from NIOS (Open schooling).
You shall have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects in the 12th standard.
A candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2023.

Yes, you can give the NEET examination in 2023. The NEET examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency and NEET is a national-level entrance examination for admission to a medical course offered by the majority of India's medical schools and universities.

The basic qualification required for NEET is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with English from a recognized board. The minimum score should be 50% marks for the General category and for SC/ST candidates it is 40% to 45% marks. The minimum age limit of the candidate should be 17 years as of 31st December of the year and the upper age limit is 25 years.

Am I eligible for neet 2023, I have completed my 12th with pcm in 2020 and now in 2022 I have take only biology as as additional subject and passesd being an private candidate .pls help to give right information I am really being worried cause of not getting any clear answer whether I can give neet or not? I really wanna pursue medical course and I am willing to give drop these year for 2023 neet exam
