I am a middle class girl and will be getting my 12th result in 2 months. Can I apply for the job of an Air Hostess after my results and if yes, what is the procedure to do that and how much time and cost is incurred in that?

In order to become an air hostess at first you have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

> You should have completed 12th standard with specialisation in hospitality or you can apply after graduation.

> Your age should be in between 18 to 25 years.

> You must be an Indian citizen.

> Your height should be minimum 157.5 cms and weight should be in proportion to height.

> You must be fluent in English and Hindi languages.

> You should have normal eyesight of 6/6 in both eyes and can wear lenses upto -2d.

> You must be fair in complexion and should be physically fit.

With this eligibility you have to get admission in an air hostess training institute. After completing the training you have to appear for a written examination which will decide your selection for air hostess. The duration of air hostess training is 1 year and the fees may range from Rs. 70,000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/- and above depending upon the standard of the institute.

Yes you can apply for the job of Air Hostess after satisfying the following eligibility criteria:
>You must have completed at least 12th standard or its equivalent in any stream from a recognized board.
>Your age should not be more than 28 years.
>Your height should be equal to or more than 5 foot 5 inch and your weight should be according to your height.
>You must have good communication skill in English as well as in Hindi.
>Personalty play a big role in Air Hostess sector, so you should have good personalty and humble and polite nature.

You can also join various Airline Training Institute for personalty development and develop more skills, required for the said job and they also guide students to apply for various Airlines.
Vacancy related to Airlines are published time to time in various newspapers like THE TIMES OF INDIA, HINDUSTAN TIMES, THE TELEGRAPH, THE HINDUS, and in many other news papers, so you can also apply in these whenever they notify of vacancy in these newspapers.
If you opt for any institute then it mat take 6 months to 1 year for your training.
Every institute have its own fee structure, so you need to choose your desired institute in which you want to do training and contact them through call or email to know their fee structure.

Candidates after completion of 12th standard can join the air hostess training academy to become an air hostess. There are various air hostess training academies available in various cities in India. Candidate’s age should be 17 to 24 years. Candidates should have good communication skills (English and Hindi) and pleasing personality. Candidates are selected for the course based on personal interviews. Candidates should be physically fit to fly. Candidate’s height should be 157 cm and weight should be in proportion to height. The above given are some of the requirements to become an air hostess. Cost involved for the air hostess training course is around Rs 1.5 Lakhs to Rs 2 Lakhs. Eligibility to become a Air hostess after 12th:

Most Airlines prefer candidates with atleast graduation degree. However there is a chance to become a Air hostess after 12th but very few Airlines would accept that and your best chance to become a Air hostess is after completing Hotel Management or tourism management course.

Your English should be fluent and this is especially important to fly International routes.
You must have passport.

Age should be in between 19 to 27 years.

So you have to join in course after passing out 12th standard in order to become a Air hostess.

You should have excellent communication skills with pleasing personality to enter this kind of field. If you have knowledge of some foreign languages, then it will be added advantage for you.

Just apply for such jobs through various job portals or even consultants in top metropolitan cities. They will take interview and select you for training, if found suitable. Qualification is not the criteria for such jobs. All you need is good communication skills and good looks.
