What is the age criteria for 10th class exam of ICSE board?

Mainly there is no any age criteria is defined. But a candidate should have minimum of 14 years of age. If the age of student is below 14 years then, he is not eligible for 10th ISCE. There is no any upper limit for age.

ICSE stands for Indian Council of Secondary examination and it is one of the Central board other than CBSE & NIOS having the motto of providing education upto intermediate level. The board has its school all around India and provides the education in English medium.

The minimum age required for appearing the ICSE 10th board examination is 14 years and 4 months similar as CBSE.

ICSE stands for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education and it is a recognised board and has it's affiliated schools around the different corners of the country.

The admission in the schools has different criteria for the admission in the different classes. But according to the ICSE board norms there is no specific upper or lower age limits for the candidates to appear in the 10th board examination.

So, you are eligible to appear in the board examination if you have passed the 9th class and pursuing in the 10th.

To appear in 10th ICSE boards examination , student must have passed 9th standard from any ICSE affiliated school.

10th boards examination of ICSE is generally conducted in the month of April every year.

The minimum age required to appear for the 10th board examination for any board in India either it is CBSE or ICSE or any other state board which conducts 10th board examinations is 14 years.

Candidate must complete the age of 14 years on or before 31st March of the year of examination. You must register for the 10th board examination in class 9th from any ICSE affiliated school if you want to do 10th from ICSE board.

CBSE is more favourable than ICSE board.

As such there is no age limit for appearing for the ICSE Examination. However, schools, while admitting the candidates are requested to follow the norms as set by the State Education Department of the concerned State Government.

Age limit required to appear for 10th board examination in ICSE Board is must be in between 14 to 15 years.

There is no upper age limit.

If you need to appear for 10th board exam in March 2015, then you must have completed 14 years on or before 31st Dec 2014.

So if your age will be completed 14 years then only you will be eligible to write this exam.

To be eligible to appear for 10th boards ICSE, the candidate should have acquired the minimum age of 14 years as it is the minimum age requirement as per council law. No, candidate shall be allowed to appear for 10th boards before the above mentioned age.

According to ICSE Board,

If you are going to appear for your ICSE X Board Exam in March 2016, then you must have attained at least 14 years and 4 months of age on or before 31st December 2015 to appear for Board Examination.

If you don't meet the above required criteria, then you are not eligible to appear for Board Examination.

However, there is no upper age limit prescribed in ICSE Rules.

Also, CBSE has the same eligibility rules for 10th Board appearing students.

ICSE stands for International Council for Secondary Education. The age limit is defined for class nursery is 3 years to 5 years.

So, it is obvious from the above age criteria that the minimum age required for and defined by ICSE is 14 years. A candidate must have minimum age of 14 years to appear in the exam of class 10th.

There is no any age criteria is defined for upper age limit.
So, you need to have minimum 14 years of age to appear in the exam of class 10th.

ICSE board is a board like the boards cbse and nios .icse board have his own rules and regulations. There is minimum age for 10th is 14 years and less from it a student not get addmission in it.
But there is no rule for upper limit case. So if your age is more than 14 you will elligible for it.

My daughter is 5 years 3 months old in April 2018. she is in class 1st. Do her age be appropriate when she will appear for class 10th exam.

There is no upper age limit for taking the ICSE Exam. However, institutions are urged to adhere to the standards specified by the State Education Department of the relevant State Government when admitting applicants.
