Whether a candidate is eligible to reappear if failed in 10th ICSE Board exam?

Hello,
My son is studying in class 10th of ICSE Board and he will appear the Board exam next year. He is not well so that he is unable to study properly. Now, if my son fails in his class 10th ICSE Board exam then can he give it again?

Yes, a candidate can reappear for 10th ICSE exam, if he/she fails in his/her exam. If the candidate fails in 10th ICSE exam, then he/she can apply for supplementary exam, as many times until he/she clears all the subjects in his/her 10th standard. To apply for supplementary exam, you should approach your school examination branch.

Yes, the candidate who has failed 10th standard ICSE Board examinations are eligible to reappear in Board examinations once again. The candidate who has failed Board examination can get qualify by appearing in Supplementary examinations which are especially conducted for candidates who have failed in Board examinations. So, you can reappear in Board examinations if you have failed in 10th ICSE Board examination.

Yes, if you son fail in board examination then he is eligible to give his exam again in next year with the fresh batch. But its better that your son appears for the exams this year only so that the time can be saved.

Yes, surely he can re-appear for his 10th board examination in the upcoming year as a private candidate and clear his examination if not passed this current year.

He can even re-appear for improvement examination in the concluding year if he feels that he hasn't scored well in his boards this year.

Are there any re registration fee for a student who failed in icse and is repeating class 10 from the same school? If yes then how much? Is it decided by the council or the school?..
