Whether Science is useful to join Civil Services?

Respected Sir/Madam, I want to make my career in Civil Services. I am currently preparing for 10th Board exam and I am planning to take Science in Higher Secondary. If I take Science then is it useful to join Civil Services?

The answer to your question is both Yes/No. In the end you have to study from the civil services books. Well if you will take science in 11,12 then it opens a lot of opportunities like engineering, doctor etc.
You can give civil services exam regardless of your stream.
