What is summer internship? I am in 3rd year of B.Tech in ECE. I am looking for a quick response from your side. Would you please help me in this regard?

Summer internship is basically working for a corporate organization for a short period of time. The task assigned during that period will be based on your role and the demand of the project. You might be paid for your service to the organization. At the end of the period, on successful completion, you will get a certificate of accomplishment. This will help you in personal growth and seeking job opportunities in future.

In order to get internship opportunity, you should upload your profile in the leading internship portals like letsintern, internshala, twenty19, etc. You can also submit your resume in the portals of various organizations to apply directly. Apart from this, you can apply on your own through referral of employees working in the concerned organization.

Summer internship is very important training period for all students. During this period one can learn the practical aspect of education. During this period you will learn implementation of your theoretical concepts in real life. Generally the duration of summer internship is four to six weeks.
For pursuing summer internship you have to send your application to the HR of the company. You may have to pay for the internship in many companies like BHEL.
My suggestion to you is that you should make a report on your experience during your training period. It will really helps you in future career.
