I would wish to undergo an internship during my summer leave or on project where the requiremrnt is to work on weekdays.

Yes there are many firms where you can do your summer training properly. They normally provides training from 2-4 weeks in different streams. Some of the companies where you can apply for internship are:

1. DRDO
2. GAIL
3. BHEL
4. BSNL
5. L&T
6. RELIANCE
7. AIRTEL...etc

Summer training is very important in terms of campus recruitment and final year project. Also it gives you an opportunity to get familiar with the environment where you have to actually work after some years.

So take this training seriously and do it from a good company.
