Oral and Dental anatomy paper for B.D.S. students has two parts which are divided equally. There are two long answer type questions in each group and three short notes to be answered. The first section of the question paper is on oral anatomy has questions are set on topics such as fibers and cells in the periodontal ligament, Amelogenesis and short notes cover topics such as Histology of mixed salivary gland, Occusal anatomy of Maxillary 1st molar, dead tracts and so on. Most of the answers should be accompanied by suitable, well drawn and properly labeled diagrams. The second section also has the same question pattern with two long questions and few short notes, topics covered include explaining developmental stages of Tooth, Bell stage, effects of ageing on dental pulp and so on. Very detailed study is required for this paper and lots of practice should get you through easily. Below are attached some of the previous year’s question papers for your help.
