Hello everyone, I want to do Master of Physician Assistant Medicine course from University of Tampa. Can I know the duration of this course? Kindly tell me about the course duration and also the structure of this course. Thank you!

Duration of Master of Physician Assistant Medicine program is 27 months consists of four semesters of classroom training followed by three semesters of clinical rotations. This program will start in Fall and after completion of seven continuous semesters you will graduate in December with a MPAM degree.

Duration of Master of Physician Assistant Medicine in University of Tampa is 7 semesters for full time study. Students earns their degree in 27 months. This program is basically comprised of medical model of training, provides depth analysis of disease processes, diagnosis and treatment. This program covers the following topics of study;

1.Human anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, genetics and molecular biology

2. Patient health assessment and physical examination

3. Diagnostics including radiology, laboratory medicine, ultrasound and EKG

4. Applied patient care in multiple body systems

5. Population and preventive medicine

6. Specialty medicine including emergency, pediatric, geriatric, intensive care, military and disaster training
