If you are eligible or once university gives you a positive response then you will have to submit a pre-application request at Italian embassy in India. Re: Post graduate courses after MBBS in Italy? How to pursue MD or MS in Italy?
Having a BS degree in medicine is not a prerequisite for studying medicine in Italy. Most countries in Europe offer undergraduate medical programs. In the United States and Canada, you will have to have previously completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. The prerequisites for medical school in Italy will vary. Usually, a candidate must have a strong foundation in the basic sciences and be fluent in both English and Italian.
If you are looking to study medicine in Italy, it is important to know the cost of the course. The cost for a full course at a reputed medical university in Italy is approximately 20 to 30 lakhs. After passing the entrance examination, you may apply for scholarships that cover your education costs. Private universities, on the other hand, are more expensive but the educational value far outweighs the cost. In Italy, there are many advantages to pursuing postgraduate studies after MBBS. Upon graduation, you will be awarded a medical license, register with the Ordine dei Medici and sit the national state exam for certification. However, you should note that you can study English at a medical school that is part-time. However, that doesn't guarantee you a full-time job in Italy. After MBBS, you can study medicine at the University of Padova. Italy's medical schools are known for their high-quality, affordable, and internationally-recognized medical education. In fact, Italian medical schools are recognized by several international accrediting bodies, such as the National Medical Commission. Having a BS in medicine in Italy is a great choice for future career advancement. |
