Job Profile:

Syndicate Bank invites online application from eligible Indian Nationals for making recruitment on the posts of Agricultural Assistants in clerical cadre. The vacancies are available in various states including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tripura, Punjab, West Bengal etc. Candidates will be recruited on probation basis for minimum period of 6 months only.

Eligibility:

Candidates must be either a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or Subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962. Canddiates must have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit i.e. 18 years. But the age of candidates should not be more than 28 years as on 1 July 2011. Reservation will be provided to only reserved categories candidates. SC/ST candidates will get relaxation of 5 years and OBC candidates will get relaxation of only 3 years. PD, Ex-Serviceman etc will also get relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

The minimum educational qualification required for the post of Agricultural Assistants is Graduation degree from recognized Indian Agricultural Colleges or Universities of India. Candidates must also have knowledge of offical or regional language of the state for which candidates is applying. Candidates should be able to read, write and speak in the regional language. Also, the computer literacy is desirbale for the specified posts. Candidates must possess the above mentioned educational qualification required for the post.

Application Fee:

The amount of application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 500 only. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories must submit an application fee of Rs. 50 only. The application fee should be paid in cash only through the use of Payment challan. The payment challan can be easily downloaded from the official website of the bank. The payment of application fee should be paid at any branch of the Syndicate Bank. Candidates must retain the original counterfoil of the challan as it is need to be produced at the time of written test alongwith their call letters.
