Anna Adharsh College for Women was established in 1985 by the members of the Punjab Association. The sole aim was to provide holistic education to all classes of women and bring enlightenment in their life. Today the strength of the college is more than 3800 and each year the students belonging to this college have secured top University ranks in various disciplines of study. For the year 2008-2009 it is indeed pride to say that the college was able to deliver 135 rank holders. The college is located in Anna Nagar, prime area of Chennai which is well connected by buses to all parts of the city. The college is affiliated to University of Madras and has won many awards for professional excellence.

The dream of this college is to transform each student studying here into a socially responsible citizen who has the ability to design her future. The quality educational system has taught them to provide no compromise with any moral or ethical values ahead of them.

The students are given admission to any discipline of study provided they have passed higher secondary examination conducted by the Government of Tamilnadu or any equivalent. Only for certain disciplines percentage of marks is specified.

Placement:

In 2009-2010, alone 40 students have been successfully placed in leading companies like Wipro, Infosys, i-gate and other Banking sectors.
