Marine Products Export Development Authority was estblaished in the year 1972 under the Government of India. The authority was constituted under the Marine Products Export Development Authority act 1972. The major objective of the authority is to cover the fisheries of all kinds and to increase exports and also specifying standards in various aspects of the industry

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Assistant Director (Aquaculture Engineer):

Age Limit: Candidates should not be between 21 to 40 years of age as on 1 May 2010.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering is required from any recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Director (Quality Control):

Age Limit: Candidates should not be between 21 to 40 years of age as on 1 May 2010.
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Micro Biology etc is required from any recognized institute or university.
