The institute came into existence in the year 1997 as an autonomous institute. Job Profile:
Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management is recruiting eligible candidates on the post of Assistant Professor in various discipline. Vacancies are available for the posts of Assistant Profesor in the disciplines of VLSI/Microelectronics, Computer Architecture, Algorithms, Distributed Computing, Analytics, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Communication and network, Ad hoc/Wireless Communication, Information Security, Database, Robotics, Web/Multimedia Technologies, Business Communication and Cyber Laws.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have a good academic record throught his educational career. Candidates must also possess a minimum of three years experience in teaching or research.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum educational qualification required for the specified post is Ph.D. degree and that too with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Less qualified candidates are cannnot apply for the post of Assistant Professor in Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management.
No. of posts: Several posts are available on the specified position of Assistant Professor in various disciplines such as Distributed Computing, Analytics, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Communication and network, Ad hoc/Wireless Communication, Information Security, Database, Robotics, Web/Multimedia Technologies etc.
Pay Scale: All selected candidates will get the salary of Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7000. But the fresh Ph.D. qualified candidates will get the grade pay of Rs. 6000 instead of Rs. 7000.
Selection Process:
Selection committee formed by Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management will take the final decision on the selection of the candidates on the specified position of Assistant Professor. The decision of Selection Committee will be considered as the final call on the selection of canddiates.
