Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University MA Economics Entrance Exam will have 2 sections. The first section will consist of 50 objective type questions carrying 1 mark each. The second section will have 10 descriptive type questions each carrying 5 marks. The candidates are required to finish these 2 sections with in 2 hours duration.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Master of Arts program in Economics, the aspirants should have completed their graduate degree in Economics / Commerce / Business Administration / Agricultural Economics with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC / ST / PH candidates). The candidates who have done their graduation in any of the Science subjects with mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 level can also apply for the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University MA Economics Entrance Exam.

The application form can be obtained by payment of Rs. 300/- (Rs. 75/- for SC / ST / PH candidates) from the Admission Cell, BB Ambedkar University, Vidya Vihar Campus, Rae Bareli Road, Lucknow-226025. One can also obtain the application form via post by remitting crossed DD in favor of Finance Officer, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, payable at Lucknow along with a self addressed stamped envelop of Rs. 50/-. The candidates can also download the application form from the University website www.bbauindia.org or www.indiaresults.com. The completely filled application form has to be sent to Admission Cell, BB Ambedkar University Vidya Vihar Campus, Rae Bareli Road, Lucknow-226025 on or before the due date.

How to fill the Form?

The applicants have to take intense care while filling the application form. Each and every column has to be filled furnishing the exact details. The name, date of birth and other personal details filled in the application form should match with that in the higher secondary certificate. The centre and course column have to be carefully filled as any change regarding these won’t be entertained by the University.
