Block IT Assistants - Bihar Prashasnik Sudhar Mission
Bihar Prashasnik Sudhar Mission shortly called as BPSM came into existence under the control of the Department of International Development of Government of Bihar. This specific mission enables the Government of Bihar for implementation of administrative reforms, strengthening human resource management, modernizing administrative processes and increasing accountability under the administrative reforms programmes and Bihar Governance. The head office of the mission is located in the city of Patna and its operations are spread over the whole state of Bihar.

Bihar Prashasnik Sudhar Mission has called for candidates to walk-in-interview for the position of Block IT Assistant and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the mission in this respect:
Name of the Vacancy: Block IT Assistants
Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 89, which is divided among the different categories as follows:
• EBC – 15
• BC – 06
• BC (F) – 14
• SC - 49
• ST – 05

Tenure of employment: The Tenure of employment will be for one year
Remuneration: Candidates appointed for the position of Block IT Assistants will be coming under the pay of Rs.8000/- per month.
Eligibility requirements:
Education: Candidates must be UG Degree holders in computer applications or information technology from a recognized university. Candidates with MCA/M. Sc (IT/Computer) and candidates with BCA/B. Sc (IT/Computer) are also eligible to apply.
Age: Candidates must be between the age group of 21 and 45 years of age as on the date of walk-in-interview or the last date to apply.
Selection procedure:
Selection will be based on the performance of candidates in the walk-in-interview to be held on 26th of December 2011 at 10.30 am in appropriate districts for positions in that district.
