Courses and Admission Process in NITTE Institute of Communication
NITTE Institute of Communication offers Graduate, Post graduate as well as Post graduate diploma courses in Mass Communication. Higher Secondary education with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is the educational qualification required for admission. Graduates with 50% marks can apply for post graduation courses. Annual course fee for U G course is Rs. 60000/- and for P G courses is Rs. 90000/-.

Admission Process
Admission Process for Under Graduate Course
Candidates who have completed XII class studies in any stream from a recognized Board of studies are eligible to apply for this course. They should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam. Apart from this, candidates should have completed minimum of 17 years of age at the time admission. Selection process is carried out on the basis of marks obtained in Higher Secondary examination and performance in personal interview conducted by the Institute. Applicants are required to request the University for a suitable date for personal interview.
Admission Process for Post Graduate Courses
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University is the minimum educational qualification required for post graduation courses in NITTE University. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for this course. They will have to submit the originals of degree mark sheet at the time of admission. Candidates having a minimum mark of 50% are only eligible to apply. Admission to the course is carried out on the basis of
- Written Aptitude test
- Elocution
- Group Discussion
- Personal Interview
Candidates who have scored at least 70% marks in aggregate or more in qualifying examination are exempted from entrance exam. Admission to such candidates will be based on performance in final interview.
Application Process
Eligible candidates are required to apply in the prescribed application by post. Application form can be downloaded from the official website of the University. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee. Fee payment can be made by taking a Demand Draft in favor of NITTE University payable at Mangalore. Fully filled in application form along with photocopies of mark sheets as well as supporting documents and details of fee payment should be sent to the University.
