All India Council For Technical Education is abbreviated as AICTE under the Department of Higher Education, ministry of Human resource Development. Initially, the council was established in the year 1945 as an advisory body. however, the council was awarded with the Statutory status in the year 1987 by an Act of Parliament. The headquarter of the council is located at New Delhi. Dr. S. S. Mantha is the present acting Chairperson of the council. The council is actually a national level council for technical education. National Board of Accrediation is still operating under the wing of AICTE.

3. Recruitment of Chief Administrative Officer Group ‘A’:

Selection Process:

Selection process for all the above specified positions in All India Council For Technical Education is comprises of both a Competitive Written Examination and Personal Interview Test. Successfull candidates of the written test will the be called to appear in the interview test against Selection Committee on a specified date.
