Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) offers undergraduate engineering programmes in a number of disciplines. The institute also provides Diploma, Post Graduate and Research programmes in engineering. The University was setup by Government of Maharashtra in 1989. Being State funded it has a very good infrastructure with all the modern facilities. The University is located in Lonere and has a residential campus.
This deemed University was established in order to transfer quality education to every sector of the society. Admission to undergraduate engineering programmes of DBATU is through Maharashtra CET conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. DBATU provides 8 different programmes in engineering and total number of seats for BE programme in the institute is 540.

Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCM . There is 5% relaxation for Maharashtra backward classes. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in 2011 can also apply. The candidates have to be at a minimum age of 17 years as on 01st of October as on the ensuing year of the admission.
How to Apply:
Candidates have to appear in MAH-CET for admission in DBATU. Forms for MAH-CET will be available at the schools/junior colleges of students where they have studied in Maharashtra. The candidates can also earn their application form through the medium of post. These respective candidates have to send a requisite letter to the following address and have to mention their registration number along with a specimen of their signature. The candidates are also advised to forward some of the important documents as well as few other certificates of merit along with the following documents.

• Availability of CET Forms: March 2nd-4th week, 2011
• Last Date for submission of CET forms: 4th week, 2011
• Date of CET: May 1st week, 2011
• Declaration of Results: Mid June 2011

I have scored 110 marks in MH-CET ,can I get admission in dbatu civil engineering branch ? What is cutoff score of 2012 for civil engineerin ?
