Essential Details of PGPBF in NIBM
National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) is an autonomous institution run by RBI in collaboration with Government of India. Post-Graduate Programme in Banking and Finance (PGPBF) is a 2 year course offered by NIBM. Syllabus of the course includes topics like managerial economics, econometric methods, management of bank lending, financial derivatives, and corporate governance & business ethics. Graduates can seek admission to the course on the basis of CAT score, GD, and interview.

Eligibility Criteria for PGPBF in NIBM
Bachelor degree from any of the recognized University is the basic qualification required. The qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 50% marks. Final year/result awaiting students holding the required qualification can also apply. They must turn out a certificate from the Principal/the head of the Department claiming that they have the required qualification based on the latest available grades/marks.
Selection Process for PGPBF in NIBM
A valid CAT score is mandatory to have admission to the course. Candidates short listed on the basis of CAT score are supposed to attend a group discussion and interview. Final selection is done on the basis of the combined result of CAT score, GD and interview.
Application Process for PGPBF in NIBM
Application forms for PGPBF can be collected from the website of NIBM. Filled up application form along with a demand draft of Rs. 1250/- should reach the address of the Dean, NIBM, before deadline date.
