Those candidates who have completed diploma in aeronautical engineering from a recognized university are eligible for B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering.

Your age should be above 17 years.

Yes, you can join in Aeronautical Engineering after completion of your three years Diploma course in Aeronautical Engineering. Candidates who have completed three years Diploma course in Aeronautical Engineering are eligible to get direct admission in second year of four years Aeronautical Engineering course by appearing in Lateral Entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc, which is conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board. By qualifying the entrance examination, based upon your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college and you can get admission in second year of four years Aeronautical Engineering course.

Yes, you can definitely pursue Aeronautical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E) course after completion of diploma course. You can directly take admission in the second year of engineering course through lateral entry scheme by scoring well in the LEET which is conducted by each state as well as private universities. However, for most of the institutes it depends on the branch of engineering in which you completed your diploma. Most of the institutes will not allow you to switch to Aeronautical Engineering if you had done diploma course in some other engineering domain which is not related to Aeronautical domain. However, it will be easy to switch to Aeronautical Engineering graduation degree course if you had completed your diploma in Aeronautical domain.
