Can I apply for Junior Engineering post on the basis of 2 year ITI diploma?


Sir, I am doing diploma from electrical branch from Guru Kashi university, which is approved by UGC and qualification is 12th and 2 years ITI. Can I apply for government job like Junior Engineer in RRB, NTPC, SAIL, BHEL etc. after completing my diploma degree.

The qualification required for Junior Engineer post in RRB, NTPC, BHEL, SAIL etc is:

Three years diploma in disciplines like electrical, mechanical, civil etc from a recognized technical institute.

The age limit is 18-32 years.

Two years diploma is not valid for Junior Engineer entrance exam in these government undertakings.

Yes, you can apply for Junior Engineer post.

Those candidates who have completed ITI or diploma course from a recognized board or University are eligible for junior engineer post.

Your age should be below 26 years.
