Re: Can I do biomedical engineering after diploma in mechanical engineering?
Yes, you are eligible to apply for bachelor’s degree courses ( B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc) in biomedical engineering after having diploma in mechanical engineering, because to apply for bachelors degree in biomedical engineering minimum qualification required is 10+2 or equivalent qualification (That is diploma in any engineering stream) in relevant stream.
- Duration of bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering after diploma is 3 years, because after diploma through lateral entry procedure diploma holder candidate will get direct admission in second year of bachelor degree course. |
