is my rank is suitable for admission?

You can surely get admission in a Private Polytechnic Institute with this rank. There are many private colleges these days and getting admission in those colleges is not so difficult. The fee is more compared to the government colleges but you must take admission in a good college only which has good track record.

If you are thinking of getting admission in a Government Polytechnic then you have less chances. The number of seats available in government polytechnics are very less and you must have a very excellent rank then only you can get admission.

Admission is also affected by the category to which you belong. If you belong to SC/ST and Physically handicapped category then it will be possible for you to get admission in a government colleges with a higher rank because there are seats reserved for these categories.
