Can I pursue B.Tech Engineering from other States after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra Pradesh? Which exams are conducted in other states for admission in Engineering?


Respected Sir, I am pursuing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra Pradesh but I want to study my Engineering from other States so I want to know can I pursue B.Tech Engineering from other States after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra Pradesh? Which exams are conducted in other states for admission in Engineering? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, you can pursue B.Tech from other states but you will be eligible only for private engineering colleges. Lateral entry exams are conducted on state level only for admission in B.Tech course.

Admission is available for other state candidates but only limited seats are available and priority is given to state candidates. Hence, you need to perform well in entrance to get admission.
